On August 4, the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training sent documents to the People's Committees of some wards and high schools about arranging study places for children and students from Ninh Thuan province (old) who follow their parents to work in the new area. Talking to reporters of Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio and Television, comrade Vo Hoan Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training said:

The arrangement of study places for children and students in Ninh Thuan province (old) is based on the list of registered study wishes of children of cadres, civil servants and public employees in Ninh Thuan province (old) who follow their parents to work at provincial agencies and central vertical agencies. Accordingly, up to this point, there are a total of 270 children and students who need to enroll in schools from kindergarten to high school in the wards of Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Tay Nha Trang. The Department of Education and Training has requested high schools and wards to notify the list of children and students registering for admission from the 2025-2026 school year to relevant schools so that the schools can prepare to receive them.

- According to the registration list, some schools have a large number of registered students, concentrated in Nha Trang ward such as: Loc Tho Primary School with 19 students, Phuoc Tien Primary School with 27 students, Au Co Secondary School with 19 students, Thai Nguyen Secondary School with 24 students... So, will accepting students to study at these schools according to their registration wishes affect the class size and the organization of teaching and learning of the school, sir?

- The arrangement and placement of students is carried out in accordance with the wishes of the family, in order to create favorable conditions for parents to work with peace of mind. Some schools have more enrollments than other schools, but this only increases the number of students in each class by 1 to 2 students, so it basically does not affect the organization of teaching and learning at these schools much.

- So what are the specific documents and procedures for transferring schools for each level of education, sir?

- For preschool children, parents contact the preschool to submit admission applications.

For primary school students (from grade 2 to grade 5 in the 2025-2026 school year), parents submit an application for school transfer; the primary school of destination will confirm acceptance based on the list; then parents will return to the primary school of departure to withdraw the application (original transcript) and submit it to the primary school of destination, including: Application for school transfer, original transcript, valid copy of birth certificate. For new students entering grade 1, parents submit the application to the school (application for admission, valid copy of birth certificate) for the school to conduct additional admission, without going through the transfer procedure like students from grade 2 to grade 5.

Lesson at Phuoc Tien Primary School (Nha Trang ward) school year 2024 - 2025.

For junior high school students (from grade 7 to grade 9 in the 2025-2026 school year), parents submit an application for school transfer; the destination junior high school will confirm acceptance based on the list; then parents will return to the departure junior high school to withdraw the application (original transcript) along with the transfer recommendation letter to submit to the destination junior high school, including: Application for school transfer, original transcript, transfer recommendation letter. For new students entering grade 6, parents submit the application to the school (application for admission to grade 6, copy of valid birth certificate, original primary school transcript confirming completion of primary school program) for the school to conduct additional admission, without going through transfer procedures like students from grade 7 to grade 9.

For high school level, the implementation procedure is similar to that of middle school level (from grade 7 to grade 9) but the application must include a certificate of admission to public grade 10. For grade 10 students whose names are on the list, approval from the Director of the Department of Education and Training is not required in the transfer application.

The Department of Education and Training requires that, after completing the admission of children and students from Ninh Thuan province (old) to study at schools (from June to August 2025), high schools and localities must compile data and report to the department no later than September 10.
