Veterans Association actively responds to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"

The provincial Veterans Association currently has more than 46,000 members, operating in more than 700 branches. In recent times, associations at all levels in the province have implemented many practical activities in response to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Thereby, contributing to promoting the will of self-reliance, building a consumer culture of Vietnamese people, promoting production, business and consumption of Vietnamese goods.

As an active member responding to the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", veteran Truong Van Luy, Thuy Son 2 residential group, Tan Son ward (Kim Bang town) shared: Being promoted by the Ward Veteran Association, I actively responded to the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" to contribute to the development of domestic production. Many types of goods produced in Vietnam are of good quality, not inferior to imported goods, with reasonable prices, I prioritize using them. Most of the goods my family uses every day are Vietnamese goods. I also actively promote and mobilize my family, relatives and friends to prioritize using Vietnamese goods.

The Association of War Veterans in Tan Son Ward, Kim Bang Town, propagates to its members and people to respond to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" at Thuy Son 2 residential group.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ly, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association of War Veterans, said: Implementing Directive No. 28/CT-TTg dated October 26, 2021 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation, every year, the Provincial Association of War Veterans has signed a coordination program with the Provincial Association of War Veterans Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, directing the Association of War Veterans at all levels to promote the dissemination of the content of the Campaign, combining and integrating the contents in the activities of the Association. Along with that, the Associations at all levels regularly do a good job of advising the Party Committees and authorities and actively coordinate with departments, branches, and organizations, organizing practical activities to propagate and mobilize cadres, members and people to buy Vietnamese goods. Identifying this as a regular task in the action program; At the same time, orient and encourage individuals and families, first of all, war veterans, so that buying and using Vietnamese goods becomes a habit and way of thinking for everyone. At the same time, support to promote the supply of Vietnamese goods through coordinated programs to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas; support to build brands and consumption markets for products produced by war veterans, provide goods and materials that are Vietnamese goods to serve war veterans and people in production and business.

In addition to propaganda and mobilization work to encourage war veterans and people to prioritize the use and trust of Vietnamese goods, the War Veterans Association at all levels also pays attention to supporting war veterans, people and businesses in promoting Vietnamese products; promoting businesses and production and business establishments owned by war veterans to comply with legal regulations, focusing on improving technological processes and building brands to enhance the reputation of Vietnamese goods in the domestic and international markets. In particular, every year, the War Veterans Association of districts, towns and cities coordinates with socio -political organizations to participate in promoting the role of supervision, inter-sectoral coordination in market inspection, implementing the coordination program "Advocacy and supervision to ensure food safety"; detecting, providing information, denouncing acts of production, harboring, and trading in counterfeit, fake, and poor-quality goods for competent authorities to handle; Linking the results of the implementation of the Campaign with the evaluation of the emulation movement of exemplary war veterans to the evaluation and classification of war veterans... Through that, we have propagated and mobilized war veterans and people of all walks of life to prioritize the use of Vietnamese goods; changed awareness and behavior in consumption; increased communication on recognizing fake, counterfeit, poor quality goods, and goods of unknown origin. As a result, every year, 100% of war veterans' households use Vietnamese goods, from daily household items to high-value amenities.

Continuing to respond to the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the Association of War Veterans at all levels in the province determined to continue to promote propaganda and mobilize war veterans and all classes of people to actively participate in the movement associated with patriotic emulation movements in the locality; promote production, improve product quality of enterprises, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and cooperative groups owned by war veterans. Along with that, promptly commend and replicate the collectives and individuals of war veterans with achievements in the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
