The 567th Regiment's Council met after 47 years of service.

The Liaison Committee of War Veterans of Regiment 567 of Tuyen Quang province presented gifts of gratitude to a number of relatives of martyrs in the province.

More than 150 veterans of Regiment 567 from 3 provinces came together to recall heroic memories of the day they enlisted 47 years ago.

At the program, former soldiers were moved to recall the moment when thousands of young people from Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen and Ha Giang said goodbye to their homeland, family and school to join the defense of the Fatherland on the northern border fronts, especially the Cao Bang front in 1979 and Vi Xuyen in 1985.

With glorious achievements, many officers and soldiers of the Regiment have matured, become high-ranking leaders of the Party and State and were honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces. Regiment 567 was also awarded the noble title "Heroic Regiment 567" by the State.

The Liaison Committee of War Veterans of Military Region 1 awarded Commemorative Medals to war veterans of the three provinces of Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen and Ha Giang who made important contributions during their service in combat and work in Military Region 1.

Through many ups and downs and in different positions, the veterans of Regiment 567 of the 3 provinces have always maintained the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", exemplary in leading the policies of the Party and State, making the heroic tradition of the nation famous so that today's generation can always be proud.

On this meaningful occasion, the Veterans Liaison Committee of Regiment 567 of Tuyen Quang province presented gifts of gratitude to some relatives of martyrs in the province. At the same time, the Veterans Liaison Committee of Military Region 1 also presented commemorative medals to 40 female veterans from the three provinces of Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen and Ha Giang, who made important contributions during their service in combat and work in Military Region 1.
