On October 27, within the framework of a working visit to Vietnam, the Cuban Small Farmers Association led by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers Association, visited Ha Long Bay to learn from Vietnam's economic development experience after 38 years of renovation.
During the working visit to Vietnam from October 25 to November 1, the delegation of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association led by Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, visited Ha Long Bay ( Quang Ninh province).
Comrade Luong Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Chairman of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association visited Sung Sot Cave, a masterpiece of nature in Ha Long Bay.
Comrade Luong Quoc Doan, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, shared with Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Chairman of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association about Vietnam's practical experience during 38 years of implementing innovation and international economic integration. "After 38 years of implementing innovation and international economic integration, in terms of economy, Vietnam has been developing steadily, from a poor country to become the world's leading exporter of agricultural and aquatic products, entering the middle-income threshold and integrating more and more deeply into the world economy," said Comrade Luong Quoc Doan.
Despite being severely affected by storm No. 3, Ha Long Bay welcomed an average of more than 4,000 international visitors per day immediately after. This is a practical proof of Vietnam's correct path and attractiveness after implementing innovation and international economic integration.
Comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association, expressed surprise at Vietnam's remarkable economic development after renovation and international integration.
"I was very surprised when I came to Ha Long Bay and witnessed hundreds of ships and yachts carrying thousands of tourists a day, all owned by private enterprises," said comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Cuban Small Farmers' Association.
On the same day, comrade Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Cuban Small Farmers Association also came and worked with the leaders of Hai Phong City.
Immediately afterwards, the Cuban Small Farmers delegation visited tourist, service and shopping areas in Hai Phong and expressed their admiration for the development of Vietnam's economy after renovation and international integration.
