Traditional Cultural Association "Pigeon Releasing Competition" of My Hao town in 2023

On May 19, My Hao town organized the Traditional Cultural Festival "Flying Pigeon Release Competition" and sports activities to celebrate the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023). Attending the opening ceremony of the Traditional Cultural Festival were comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of My Hao Town Party Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

Leaders of My Hao town presented souvenir flags to units participating in the Traditional Culture Association.

This year's traditional cultural festival "Flying pigeon release competition" attracted over 200 flocks of pigeons from flying pigeon clubs from Bac Ninh province, Hanoi city, Yen My district, Van Lam district and flying pigeon clubs from communes and wards in the town. Each flock of birds participating in the festival consisted of 8 birds, in order, each artist took turns bringing their flock of birds to perform, showing off skillful flights and gliding, creating beautiful shapes, which were evaluated by the judges as high quality and enthusiastically cheered by the audience. The organizing committee presented souvenirs to all the bird clubs participating in the competition and awarded 1 Special prize, 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 8 Third prizes to the flocks of birds with high scores.

The traditional cultural festival also holds many sports activities such as: friendly football, volleyball, tennis, chess competitions... creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to participate.
