More than 1,000 billion VND to support the poor

From the mobilized fund, the city has spent over 1 trillion VND to support tens of thousands of poor households. Through many different solutions, many households have been helped to escape poverty. Currently, the city's poverty rate has been reduced from 1.49% to 0.33%.

In addition, through activities such as: "Peak Month for the Poor", the Cultural Program "City of Love - Connecting Love" ... maintained annually, the city has mobilized additional funds to carry out construction and repair projects of 500 houses to support the poor. Of which, the City Front has built 103 houses, with a total cost of about 6.2 billion VND; the district level has built 397 houses, with a cost of nearly 17 billion VND.

Up to now, the city has completed repairing and building 575/500 charity houses, ahead of schedule and exceeding the project target.
