More than 1,000 athletes participate in the Sports Festival to welcome the Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee

VHO - The sports festival to welcome the 1st Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee with the participation of 47 delegations, with more than 1,000 athletes competing in 2 events: mixed men's and women's volleyball and mixed men's and women's tug of war.

On the morning of September 27, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee organized a Sports Festival to welcome the 1st Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. The Sports Festival took place for 2 days (September 27 - 28), with more than 1,100 athletes participating, competing in 2 events: mixed men's and women's volleyball and mixed men's and women's tug of war.

Health is the most precious asset of every human being, the priceless asset of every nation and every people. Practicing physical exercise and sports is actively responding to the movement "All people practice physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", and improving the health of cadres, party members and workers.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the delegations participating in the sports festival.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the sports festival, Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Thu Hoa emphasized that, in addition to welcoming the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, and moving towards welcoming the 14th National Party Congress, the Sports Festival aims to promote the sports movement and improve the health of cadres, party members, and workers in agencies, units, and enterprises throughout the Party Committee.

At the same time, it is a healthy and useful playground; as well as an opportunity for cadres, party members, and employees of agencies, units, and enterprises to exchange, learn, and strengthen solidarity, build close relationships, and create motivation to successfully complete the political tasks of each agency, unit, and enterprise.

After the opening ceremony, the matches in mixed men's and women's volleyball took place in an exciting and dramatic atmosphere.

For the Sports Festival to be successful, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival to promote a sense of responsibility and perform well the assigned contents and tasks.

For the referee team, the referee team members are requested to control the matches of the Sports Festival in accordance with the Regulations, impartially and objectively.

In addition, the athletes of the delegations - the decisive factors for the success of the sports festival - competed enthusiastically, honestly, in the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning; contributing good matches, beautiful plays, bringing joy and excitement to the audience.
