(Dan Tri) - On the morning of October 1, the Hanoi Autumn Carnival within the framework of the Hanoi Autumn Festival took place vibrantly and colorfully on the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street.
Hanoi Autumn Carnival brings together elaborately staged performances with a scale of more than 1,500 people from city units, students, city unions, clubs, art troupes, and artisans. The event opened with a performance by the Thanh Oai district Lion and Dragon Dance troupe with 600 performers, 30 dragons, 30 lions and 30 drummers, symbolizing 30 districts, towns and cities in the city. The Carnival will consist of 4 parts: Radiant Autumn Colors - depicting the colors of Autumn in Hanoi, from businesses to craft villages, street art performances with the participation of art troupes, businesses and people living in Hanoi.
The lion dance is elaborately performed, with many colors that attract the eyes of the audience. Art performances with songs and dances about Autumn in Hanoi, creating a joyful atmosphere for the Festival. The parade took place with performances imbued with cultural nuances. Above is the image of the Me Linh flower float convoy resplendent with the colors of the flower region on the outskirts of Hanoi. Art parades with parts: "Golden Harvest" costume performance by models, art dance, reenactment of rice harvest scene, bumper crop of the play Tinh Hoa Bac Bo.
The parade of ao dai combined with cyclo decorated with flowers moved through the area in front of Ly Thai To monument. Despite the hot weather, many people gathered on both sides of the street to watch the parades perform. Deputy Director of the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Nguyen Thi Mai Anh said: Hanoi Autumn Carnival is the highlight of the Hanoi Autumn Festival. The program was carefully and meticulously prepared, receiving the consensus and support of districts, organizations and tourism businesses. This is also an activity to promote the image of Hanoi tourism, attracting more and more tourists to the capital. The parade consisted of young women dressed in flowing white ao dai, waving to people passing by Trang Tien Street. People capture colorful moments at this year's Hanoi Autumn Carnival.
