At noon on November 20, more than 105 officers and soldiers of Regiment 66 (Division 10, Corps 34) quickly mobilized to Duc Binh commune to help people overcome the consequences of floods.

Together with the force, the unit mobilized 2 motorboats, 100 shovels, 200 stakes of various types, 60 hooks, 40 sledgehammers, 150 buoys, 600 sacks... and many other necessary means and equipment.

Informing the mission and encouraging the troops, Major General Tran Cong Duc, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps, requested that officers and soldiers of the unit thoroughly grasp the spirit of initiative, urgency, safety, and efficiency; strive to maintain smooth communication. The flood waters are still complicated, comrades must put the safety of the people first, at the same time protect their own safety and weapons and equipment; absolutely do not be subjective in the face of large floods, receding waters, landslides; properly follow technical procedures when maneuvering and performing tasks...

According to incomplete reports from localities, up to this point, the whole province has 33,630 flooded houses; 11,578 isolated households; 11,242 households have to be urgently evacuated. Localities have organized evacuation plans to move to safe places, because the water level continues to rise, so the number of flooded houses is likely to increase.

Responding to the storm, the Provincial Military Command mobilized 12,323 comrades and vehicles including 60 cars of various types, 01 anti-collapse machine, 24 pumps, 26 generators, 57 canoes, motorboats; 69 life rafts; 350 sets of tents of various types; 8,088 life buoys; 7,179 life jackets and a number of other vehicles, equipment and materials to support localities in implementing response plans and evacuating people to safety. At the same time, preparing landing sites for rescue helicopters.

The provincial police have mobilized forces and equipment including 122 cars of various types, 40 canoes, motorboats... to support localities in responding to floods and ensuring security and order in flooded areas.
