More than 170 programs and events to promote Quang Ninh tourism in 2025

According to information from the Department of Tourism , in 2025, Quang Ninh province will organize 24 international, national and provincial-level programs and events and nearly 150 local-level programs and events to attract tourists.

Some of the programs include: Ha Long Carnival 2025 (taking place on April 30 - May 1), Miss Vietnam Sea Global 2025 (taking place in May and June), the art program "Legend of the Heritage Land" (taking place in the second quarter). In particular, the program "Art for Climate - Ha Long 2025" (Art for Climate Festival - Halong 2025) organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will be held mainly in Ha Long City, taking place from February to June with 20 activities divided into 3 phases.

In particular, in the second quarter and early third quarter of 2025, the tourism industry continues to organize many cultural, sports and tourism activities and events such as: Sports sailing festival, hot air balloon festival, kite festival, OCOP fair,... Because this is the time with many holidays and holidays such as: Hung King's death anniversary, April 30, May 1, September 2, which is also the summer vacation time for students.

Therefore, the domestic tourist market will be very vibrant. The number of tourists tends to increase sharply, concentrated in early May and June, mainly in localities with strengths in sea and island tourism such as: Ha Long, Van Don, Co To, Mong Cai.

In addition, in 2025, localities will also actively and proactively organize traditional sports tournaments such as boat racing, traditional martial arts, chess, etc. or events associated with regional cultural characteristics to create highlights and meet the diverse needs of different types of visitors.

To attract the international tourist market, the tourism industry will also promote promotional programs abroad; work and sign cooperation agreements with reputable domestic and foreign travel businesses; organize to welcome international travel business delegations and press to survey and promote Quang Ninh tourism; develop tourism programs and product packages to serve customers... From there, determined to achieve the goal of attracting 20 million visitors, of which 4.5 million are international visitors, revenue from the tourism sector will reach 55,000 billion VND, contributing positively to the overall growth of the province.
