More than 18,000 tons of imported and exported goods through Mong Cai border gate

On the afternoon of September 3, the Management Board of Mong Cai International Border Gate ( Quang Ninh ) said that during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, border gates and openings in Mong Cai City will still operate normally.

The authorities at the border gate have arranged personnel and vehicles to ensure smooth entry and exit and import and export activities. During the holiday, 18,105 tons of goods were imported and exported through Cau Bac Luan II Border Gate and the temporary pontoon bridge opening at Km3+4 Hai Yen.

Meanwhile, a representative of Mong Cai Border Gate Customs Branch said that by the end of August 2024, more than 58,100 declarations had been processed, an increase of 41% over the same period. Import-export turnover reached more than 2.5 billion USD (an increase of 24% over the same period), of which export turnover reached nearly 1.6 billion USD.
