More than 19,900 Quang Ninh students officially entered the High School Graduation Exam

Candidates arrive at the Hon Gai High School exam site early in the morning of June 26.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam in Quang Ninh province, 19,930 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of 1,966 candidates compared to the previous year. Of which, 19,594 candidates registered to take the exam under the 2018 GeneralEducation Program (98.3%); 336 candidates registered to take the exam under the 2006 General Education Program (1.7%).

Parents take their children to school and encourage them before they take the most important exam of their student life.

The whole province organizes 1 Examination Council with 40 examination sites (an increase of 3 examination sites compared to 2024) corresponding to 849 examination rooms (an increase of 64 examination rooms compared to 2024).

The examination sites are located at educational institutions that meet the requirements for organizing the examination, ensure compliance with the Examination Regulations, are convenient for candidates and ensure safety for the organization of the Examination.

Candidates confidently expressed their determination before entering the exam room.

To organize the exam, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Provincial Police and the Department of Health to mobilize about 3,500 officers, teachers and employees to participate in the exam supervision task according to the exam regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The invigilator calls the candidates into the examination room and performs all the procedures and processes of the examination correctly and completely.

Personnel participating in the examination invigilation work, especially the heads of the stages in the examination organization, are selected to ensure the standards and conditions prescribed in terms of capacity, quality, and expertise to ensure good completion of the task.

Inspectors from the Ministry of Education and Training were present at the Hon Gai High School Examination Site during the morning exam session on June 26, carefully inspecting all stages of the exam organization.

To ensure the honesty, objectivity and fairness of the high school graduation exam, inspection and examination by the three levels of ministry, province and department will be carried out at all stages.

The invigilators will thoroughly inform and instruct the candidates about the rules and regulations of the exam before the exam time.

This year's exam will take place on June 26 and 27, 2025. Candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program will take 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects: Literature and Mathematics; 2 optional subjects are from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Agricultural Technology, Foreign Languages (English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese and Korean).

Candidates fill in information on scratch paper, exam paper, and gather before the Literature exam starts.

Candidates can choose to register for the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program with 4 sessions and 4 exams, including: Literature, Math, Natural Science Group or Social Science Group and Foreign Language.

Outside the exam room, many parents still lingered, waiting and worrying about their children in the exam room.

This morning, June 26, in the morning, candidates will take the Literature exam (120 minutes, essay); in the afternoon, they will take the Math exam (90 minutes, multiple choice).
