More than 2,000 works participated in the South Central and Central Highlands Regional Art Photography Festival

The festival with the theme "Country - People of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands", received 2,032 entries (166 photo series and 1,866 single photos) from 277 authors from 10 provinces and cities: Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum , Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai.

Through many preliminary and final rounds, the organizing committee selected 162 works (41 photo sets and 121 single photos) by 104 authors to exhibit and display from now until May 2.

The jury also selected 15 outstanding works to award prizes. Of which, the only Gold medal of the festival was awarded to the work “Vietnamese Coffee” (photo series) by author Nguyen Ngoc Hoa (Gia Lai).

The team prize was awarded to 3 units: Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City, Literature and Arts Association of Quang Nam Province, Literature and Arts Association of Gia Lai Province.
