Over 200 trainees participated in a training course to eliminate 'data illiteracy' and master digital knowledge.

On August 13th, in Nghia Tru commune (Hung Yen province), the National Data Association, in coordination with the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune, inaugurated the "Data Literacy Training Course on AI and Digital Transformation" - a pilot model to kick off the "Data Literacy Movement" aimed at popularizing digital knowledge, eliminating "data illiteracy," and promoting comprehensive digital transformation in education .

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Director of the National Data Center and Vice President of the National Data Association, delivered the opening remarks for the program.

The training course attracted over 200 participants, including administrators, teachers, and citizens interested in digital technology . The learning content included: basic knowledge of AI and digital transformation; using AI tools to create exam questions and deliver engaging lectures; managing electronic records and transcripts; connecting data with industry management systems; and ensuring information security in the digital environment.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong - Director of the National Data Center, Vice President of the National Data Association - emphasized: “Digital transformation and AI application are not just stories of the future, but urgent tasks today. We are living in an era where knowledge and technology change every day, every hour.”

In education, AI helps teachers save time, improve management efficiency, personalize learning for students, and enhance data-driven assessment capabilities.

Dr. Duong Van Thinh - an expert in AI and data - introduces a model for applying AI in teaching and educational management, ready for implementation at training institutions.

As an official member of the National Data Association, Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG) sends a team of technology experts along with Veron Company - a member unit in the technology field - to directly participate in teaching, providing technical support, guiding practical exercises, and answering questions for students in both group and individual activities.

This participation demonstrates Nguyen Hoang's commitment to supporting digital skills enhancement programs for teachers, contributing to the comprehensive digital transformation in the education sector, so that everyone can access and master technology.

More than seven decades ago, the "Popular Education Movement" brought the light of the national language to millions of Vietnamese people, eradicating the cold reality of illiteracy and opening the door to knowledge. As the country enters the digital age, the "Popular Education for Data" movement is being initiated to eliminate "data illiteracy," giving each citizen the key to mastering digital knowledge and accessing technology to improve their lives and production.

According to Pham Trung Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghia Tru commune, in recent years, the Fourth Industrial Revolution – especially the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation – is profoundly changing all aspects of social life, from production, business, healthcare , transportation… to education and training.

From Nghia Tru, the "Popular Data Literacy Movement" is expected to continue to expand, transforming data into the "new language" of the 21st century, contributing to the successful achievement of the national digital transformation goals.
