VOVedu (Vietnam Broadcasting and Television College I) has been recognized as meeting the quality accreditation standards for vocational education institutions, affirming the quality of its training.

Decision No. 909/QD-VDTPTNL dated December 5, 2025, of the Director of the Institute for Human Resource Training and Development, under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, recognizes the College of Radio and Television I as meeting the quality accreditation standards for vocational education institutions. This is not only an acknowledgment of the persistent and serious efforts throughout the process of building and developing the college, but also a source of pride, affirming the position, prestige, and quality of training of the college within the national vocational education system.

Achieving the accreditation standards for vocational education institutions helps the school affirm the quality of its training to society, to students, and to employers. It also serves as a basis for the state to invest, bid, commission, and assign training tasks to the school in the future.

This also affirms and demonstrates the school's commitment to quality in the fields of journalism, broadcasting, multimedia communication, and other areas nationwide.

The accreditation of vocational education institutions serves as a motivation for teachers and students to continue striving to build VOVedu into a high-quality college.

After three years of conducting self-assessment of the quality of vocational education institutions, in the 2025-2026 academic year, with the determination of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the entire staff and employees, VOVedu underwent external evaluation of its vocational education institution and was awarded a certificate of accreditation for vocational education institutions with a score of 88/100.

“The fact that the school has achieved accreditation standards for vocational education institutions is an honor and a source of pride for all staff, lecturers, and employees. This is an important milestone, affirming the continuous efforts of all staff, teachers, and employees of the school in improving the quality of training and meeting the increasingly high demands of society,” affirmed Dr. Nguyen Van Hung, Party Secretary and Principal.

The head of the external evaluation team and the school principal signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining the content and duration of the team's visit to the school.

With new opportunities and challenges, the school's teachers and students are determined to continue improving the quality of training, innovating teaching activities; promoting the movement of excellent teachers and lecturers at all levels; and engaging in vibrant emulation activities among students... Regarding training, quality accreditation certification is a strong driving force for the school to continue innovating the content and methods of teaching in a modern, practical, flexible, and adaptable direction suitable for learners; strengthening the connection between training and social needs, the labor market, and the specific characteristics of the broadcasting, television, and multimedia communication industries. Through this, the school will gradually improve the quality of graduates, meeting the increasingly high demands of press and media agencies and businesses.

In the coming period, all staff, employees, and students of the entire school need to continue to innovate, be creative, overcome difficulties, and create positive changes to achieve the targets of the 2025-2026 academic year.

In particular, with the College of Radio and Television I beginning to implement financial autonomy from 2026 onwards, achieving accreditation as a vocational education institution becomes even more crucial. This is a vital "passport" that will help the school confidently implement collaborative activities, expand long-term development strategies, proactively manage finances, invest in facilities, diversify training programs, and cooperate with businesses and partners inside and outside the industry. At the same time, the accreditation results will also create a solid foundation for the school to enhance accountability and transparency in management and effectively utilize resources.

The quality accreditation certificate is clear evidence that the School has fully met the stringent criteria regarding training programs, curricula, teaching staff, facilities, management and administration, and training effectiveness. This also provides VOVedu with an opportunity to objectively and comprehensively assess its strengths and weaknesses, enabling it to proactively implement sustainable improvements and enhance quality.

December 5th not only marks a milestone in our efforts but also opens a new phase of development with many opportunities and challenges. The external evaluation results are a crucial foundation for the school to enhance its reputation, build trust among students and society, and provide a solid basis for the roadmap towards autonomy, governance innovation, and development in the 2026-2030 period, aiming towards a modern, integrated vocational education institution closely aligned with the digital transformation requirements of broadcasting and multimedia communications.
