QTO - Information from the Provincial Civil Defense Command as of the afternoon of October 31 said that the whole province had nearly 130 flooded spots; 103 schools/28,513 students had to temporarily stop going to school; more than 3,600 houses were flooded.

Specifically, on national and provincial highways, there are 28 flooded points (10 points on national highways and 18 points on provincial roads (National Highway 15, National Highway 9, National Highway 12A, Provincial Road 49C, Provincial Road 564B...).

Nearly 100 flooded points at the overflows in mountainous areas and inter-commune and village traffic routes (communes: Kim Phu, Ninh Chau, Bac Gianh, Ba Don, Kim Ngan, Hoan Lao, Tuyen Binh, Nam Hai Lang, My Thuy, Dien Sanh, Dakrong, Ba Long, Vinh Dinh, Bo Trach). More than 3,600 houses were flooded in the communes of Quang Trach, Bac Gianh, Ninh Chau, Le Thuy, Dien Sanh, Nam Hai Lang, Hai Lang, Vinh Dinh, My Thuy, Nam Gianh, Trung Thuan and Quang Tri ward.

The whole province has about 30 landslide points, of which 3 are on national highways and 7 are on provincial roads; in addition, there are 3 points in Dakrong commune, 2 points in Kim Ngan commune, 1 point in Le Thuy commune, 2 points in Nam Hai Lang commune, 1 point in Huong Hiep commune, 4 points in Ta Rut commune, 1 point in Dan Hoa commune...

Inter-village and inter-commune roads in the whole province have 96 points/routes flooded in Bac Gianh ward, Phong Nha, Tuyen Lam, Dan Hoa, Phu Trach, Quang Ninh , Kim Phu, Ninh Chau, Tuyen Hoa, Vinh Dinh, Ba Long, Ta Rut communes...
