Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, Head of Technology Research Department, National Cyber Security Association said: “We designed the handbook to be easy to learn, easy to remember, easy to practice to reach many people. The handbook includes real-life situations, presented in the form of short animated clips. After viewing each situation, learners will answer multiple-choice questions, through which they will receive specific instructions on safety and anti-fraud skills drawn from experts of the Association”.
Accordingly, the 5 situations presented in the course are the most common scam and cyber attack situations in recent times, including: Receiving a call from someone claiming to be a police officer and asking to follow instructions; Finding a cheap hotel and airline ticket package for a vacation; Receiving a message revealing private, sensitive content; Being notified of winning a prize from a lucky draw program; Receiving a notification that the phone is infected with a virus and needs to download software to handle it.
According to the National Cyber Security Association, free training courses will be continuously provided on the nCademy Platform. Experts will periodically review and update new situations and tricks of criminals, helping users to practice being vigilant against the risks of fraud or cyber attacks that are always present in cyberspace.
nCademy is an online training platform developed and operated by the National Cyber Security Association, first introduced to the public on April 11, 2025. The platform was built with the goal of creating a learning community, supporting from raising awareness to in-depth research on cybersecurity. The courses are all designed and built by reputable cybersecurity organizations and businesses, members of the Association. The quality of the courses is inspected and supervised by the Professional Council of the National Cyber Security Association.
The courses that aim to disseminate knowledge will be provided free of charge, users only need a device connected to the Internet to participate, from anywhere, at their own time. Meanwhile, more in-depth courses that require a practice environment or instructors will charge learners to maintain the infrastructure and develop content. In addition to the free course Cyber Security Handbook, the Association currently also offers 3 other paid courses: Basic Cyber Security (for working people), Cyber Security for Managers and Cyber Security Experts (for officers in charge of system operations).
