Hong Loan shared that she did not want to get involved in litigation. However, since artist Hong Nhung filed a lawsuit, Hong Loan was willing to go to court to regain transparency.

Previously, on June 7, the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City accepted a lawsuit over inheritance disputes over the assets of Mr. Vo Van Ngoan (late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh).

The plaintiff is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung (60 years old, Vu Linh's younger sister), and the defendant is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan (37 years old, Vu Linh's daughter).

Other interested parties include Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong (Vu Linh's niece) and Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu (Vu Linh's younger brother).

According to the lawsuit, Ms. Nhung requested the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District to cancel the inheritance declaration document made by Vo Thi Hong Loan on April 7 at the Notary Office of Huynh Thi Ngoc Yen regarding the assets of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh.

In which, the house and land use rights at No. 5 Doan Thi Diem, Ward 1, Phu Nhuan District, according to the land use rights certificate issued by the District People's Committee on January 23, 2015, were transferred to Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan.

The land use rights for plots 87 and 88 and map sheet 8 in Linh Dong ward, Thu Duc city, according to the land use rights certificate issued by the People's Committee of Thu Duc district (now Thu Duc city) on December 19, 1998, and the car have all been transferred to Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan.

In the lawsuit, Ms. Nhung requested to cancel the update with the above-mentioned name change content in the land use right certificates and requested to divide the inheritance for 2 plots of land in Linh Dong ward, Thu Duc city for her and Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu, younger brother of artist Vu Linh.

In addition, Ms. Nhung requested to divide the inheritance of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh regarding the right to use land plots No. 87, 88 and map No. 8 in Linh Dong ward, Thu Duc city for Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung and Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu.

Ms. Nhung also requested to receive half of the property after deducting the value that artist Vu Linh made an oral will for Le Thi Hong Phuong. The estimated value that Ms. Nhung requested to receive was 1.5 billion VND.
