Meeting of the Coordination Team to implement the digital transformation cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and Viettel Group

On the afternoon of October 27, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dang Trien, Deputy General Director of Viettel Enterprise Solutions Corporation, chaired a meeting of the Coordination Team to implement the digital transformation cooperation agreement between the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

On August 20, 2025, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and Viettel signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period 2025 - 2030. Since the signing, relevant units have actively coordinated, creating conditions for Viettel to exchange, research, survey and analyze the current situation within the scope and field of cooperation.

At the meeting, Viettel proposed a plan to implement the cooperation agreement with the People's Committee of Ca Mau province in 2025 - 2026; in which, there are 06 tasks that can be performed including: Deploying Cloud infrastructure rental (cloud computing) for the Provincial Historical Archives Center; deploying digitalization of archived documents, editing of agencies and organizations (including communes: Hong Dan, Hoa Binh , Dong Hai); deploying a shared IoT platform for the whole province; deploying paperless meeting software; renting specialized data transmission network services for communes and wards; deploying a data synthesis and analysis platform (shared data warehouse, open data portal).

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dang Trien, Deputy General Director of Viettel Enterprise Solutions Corporation, said: For the 06 tasks to be deployed in 2025 - 2026, there are 03 tasks that can be implemented immediately: deploying Cloud infrastructure rental (cloud computing) for the Provincial Historical Archives Center; paperless meeting software; renting shared data transmission network services for commune level. These are 03 priority contents to be implemented first, within Viettel's capacity and necessary for the province. For the remaining tasks, due to the need for a lot of time and human resources, they cannot be implemented immediately.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan agreed with the opinion of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dang Trien, especially regarding the implementation of paperless meeting software. This software will be implemented first for the meeting rooms of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province; unions and some provincial departments and branches.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan suggested that after this meeting, departments and branches proactively carry out the tasks proposed by Viettel and provide all necessary data to deploy the tasks as soon as possible.
