Training and testing of hotline insulation cleaning on 22kV grid

Phu Yen Electricity Company has just organized training, education and testing on insulation cleaning on the 22kV power grid for 22 workers of the line and transformer station operation management team of its affiliated power companies.

Workers were trained in the process of cleaning the insulation of the energized distribution grid with high-pressure water of the Vietnam Electricity Group, participating in practice without electricity and practice with electricity; thereby helping students master basic skills such as operating pumps, installing water filtration systems, checking and treating deionized water. Students were also trained in personal protective clothing, identifying safe locations for operation, and high-pressure water spraying techniques on equipment. After three tests, all students met the requirements and were eligible for certification to perform hotline insulation cleaning with high-pressure water.
