Huawei Maestro S800 over 3.5 billion "rival" Mercedes-Maybach reveals interior

Accordingly, the cockpit of the new Huawei Maextro S800 2025 impresses with a two-tone steering wheel and a large "floating" screen system, similar to the MBUX Hyperscreen interface on the Mercedes-Benz EQS.

Although Huawei has not revealed the specific dimensions, experts estimate that the Maextro S800's interior may feature a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.7-inch central screen, and a 12.3-inch passenger-side sub-screen.

The signature Mercedes-Benz design continues with details like Burmester-style metal speaker grilles, integrated seat adjustment in the doors, digital rearview mirror, and premium wood-paneled center console. There are also dual wireless chargers, metal control knobs, and leather and suede accents throughout the interior.

The focal point inside the Maextro S800's cabin is the rear passenger compartment with two separate, fully electrically adjustable seats, integrated footrests and the ability to push back the front passenger seat to maximize space.

The leather and wood-covered center console is located between the two seats, integrating a folding table, champagne glass holder and sliding storage compartment. The car is also expected to have a mini-fridge and a separate entertainment system for the rear seats.

In addition, the car ceiling also integrates an LED lighting system simulating the starry sky, a detail that used to be a symbol of Rolls-Royce. The integrated screen on the car door is reminiscent of the modern design style of the new generation BMW 7-Series.

With an overall length of 5,480 mm and a wheelbase of 3,370 mm, the Huawei Maextro S800 is slightly longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class but shorter in wheelbase.

The car is expected to have two powertrain versions: a pure electric version with a 94.4 kWh battery for an operating range of 670–702 km (according to CLTC standards) and an extended range version (EREV) using a 63.3 kWh battery for an electric driving distance of 258–311 km.

The Maextro S800 is positioned as a super luxury car, but the selling price is significantly lower than its German competitors. This model will have a starting price of 1 million yuan (about 3.57 billion VND) in the Chinese market.

With a luxurious design, modern technology and a competitive price, the Huawei Maextro S800 promises to become a formidable competitor in the super luxury sedan segment in the domestic market.
