Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Phu, Principal of Thuy Duong Kindergarten, Thanh Thuy Ward, said that in the past three consecutive floods, the entire school was deeply and for a long time, the highest water level was over 1 meter; students had to stay home from school for 15 days. Thanks to good prevention work, the damage to the facilities was insignificant. However, when the flood receded, a lot of mud and soil remained; along with that, the stagnant floodwater for many days had the potential to cause epidemics, affecting the environment and health of students and teachers.
