Hung Yen has a new Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

On November 20, at the first session, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province for the 2024-2029 term carried out the consultation process and elected an official to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024-2029 term.

Hung Yen province is carrying out the process of perfecting this position after Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, was transferred by the Central Government to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee .

Accordingly, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party agencies, Member of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee was introduced to be elected to concurrently hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

At the meeting, members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province voted and unanimously elected Mr. Tran Quoc Toan to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024-2029 term.

Mr. Tran Quoc Toan (52 years old), from Luong Bang commune (Hung Yen province), has a master's degree, majoring in Economic Management.

He held many positions in the political system of the former Hung Yen province, such as Director of the Department of Justice, Secretary of the Kim Dong District Party Committee; Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

After the two provinces of Hung Yen and Thai Binh merged into the new Hung Yen province, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan became the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies.
