Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh, Director of the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 of Hung Yen province said: This is a key traffic project, of strategic significance in completing connecting traffic infrastructure, promoting socio-economic development and expanding regional connectivity space.
“The route not only connects the center of Hung Yen province with neighboring localities but also creates a new development corridor, connecting industrial parks, urban areas, economic zones with the traffic axis of Ring Road 5 of the Capital region. The Project Management Board, Land Fund Development Center No. 2 and local authorities will closely coordinate in project implementation, especially site clearance work,” Mr. Khanh emphasized.
On June 30, Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces officially merged, taking the name of the province as Hung Yen, with the political and administrative center located in Hung Yen province. After the merger, the new Hung Yen has a total natural area of more than 2,514 km2, a population of over 3.5 million people, expanding development space, forming a province with a large economic scale in the Red River Delta. Hung Yen is currently implementing many important traffic projects such as: Investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region; project to upgrade and expand the extended Hanoi - Hung Yen inter-provincial road, the section passing through the province; project of the road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway; project of the road connecting DT.387 with Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway (Km31 + 100); Tan Phuc - Vong Phan road project (transferred to DT.378), the route connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River; coastal road, Thai Binh - Ha Nam, Thai Binh - Hai Phong routes; Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway, section through Thai Binh and Nam Dinh...
