
Representatives of business households raised questions about declaring and paying taxes based on revenue.
On November 26, hundreds of business households in Binh Hung Hoa ward (HCMC) participated in the interactive program "Upgrading - Upgrading", part of the project "Together with business households to become digital enterprises" 2025 organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper in coordination with many agencies and units.
At the program, the issue that business households are most interested in is detailed instructions on how to declare revenue online and the tax rates to be paid after the lump-sum tax is abolished from 2026.
Experts from Ho Chi Minh City Tax shared about tax policies to support business households in converting from lump-sum tax to declaration. Along with that, experts in technology, software, and finance provided effective technology solutions, multi-channel sales; comprehensive digital solutions to help business households manage cash flow, improve business efficiency and easily comply with new regulations.
Ms. Mai Thi Nghia Le, Head of the Department of Personal Tax, Business Households and Other Revenues (HCMC Tax), said that the goal of the tax sector is to ensure that business households apply the self-declaration and self-payment method from January 1, 2026. Ensure that 100% of business households have access to information and receive support from the tax authority on the content of the conversion.
At the same time, the tax authority will develop and perfect the technical infrastructure, data system and electronic management tools, synchronize connections, ensuring that taxpayers can conveniently carry out registration, declaration and tax payment procedures.
"The tax sector will continue to implement direct and online support programs and coordinate with local authorities to organize mobile support points at traditional markets, commercial streets... to support business households in converting from paying lump-sum tax to paying tax on revenue - following the motto "holding hands and showing work" - Ms. Mai informed.
