Through the review, the whole district has 96 houses of poor and near-poor households, 371 houses of meritorious services that need to be rebuilt and renovated.

Mr. Cao Ngoc Chiem (retired cadre, born in 1950, living in hamlet 7, Van Tien village, Quang Luu commune, Quang Trach district) is a beneficiary of the regime for contributions to the resistance war against the US, and was supported with funds to repair his house. After nearly 2 months of construction, the level 4 house was completed and handed over to his family for use.
With the support of 40 million VND from the temporary and dilapidated house removal program, Mr. Chiem's family mobilized contributions from children, relatives and labor support to repair the house. The completed house is a great encouragement for the family. Thanks to the Government 's temporary house removal policy, Mr. Chiem was supported to repair and remove the temporary house this time.

In particular, when implementing the program, in addition to the poor, near-poor households, and households with meritorious services according to the province's criteria, Quang Trach district also expanded the support to include households in difficult circumstances.
According to a survey of communes in the area, the whole district has 96 households in difficult circumstances that need to build and repair houses according to the Prime Minister 's Decision. These families are all supported with 70 million VND/house for new construction and 35 million VND/house for repair.
Moving into her newly inaugurated house, Ms. Dong Thi Phuong Thao (Trung Vu village, Canh Duong commune) could not hide her joy as from now on, her three children and she will have a solid house. As a family with difficult circumstances in the commune, Ms. Thao is one of the cases approved for support of 70 million VND to build a new house.

Previously, when there was financial support, the departments and organizations of Canh Duong commune quickly started to build houses for the people. After nearly 2 months of implementation, the spacious and solid house was completed and handed over to Ms. Thao's family.
In addition, thanks to the support of the Social Policy Bank of Quang Trach district with a support level of 5 million VND per household and a loan for the clean water and environmental sanitation program of 200 million VND to build new, upgrade and renovate clean water and sanitation works. Thanks to that, it has contributed to helping people settle down, find jobs, confidently develop the economy , escape poverty and gradually build a stable life.
According to the report from the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Quang Trach District, as of May 14, 2025, the entire district has handed over 94/96 houses for use, the remaining 2 houses have completed "3 hard" and are currently being completed for handover. This is the first district to reach the finish line in the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses under the direction of the province. Particularly for households with meritorious services, the entire district has started construction on 315 houses, reaching 84.91% of the total number of new constructions, and repaired 371 houses.

Secretary of Quang Trach District Party Committee Nguyen Chi Thang emphasized: To effectively implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has assigned each Standing Committee member in charge of each commune to supervise, monitor and be responsible to the Standing Committee for the progress. Every week, they must closely monitor and report progress to the Steering Committee and advise on handling difficulties and problems during the implementation process.
“Up to now, the district has completed the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses before the deadline of June 30. This is the result of the strong determination of the entire political system. Especially the great support and companionship of organizations, individuals and people from all walks of life, thereby strongly spreading the message of “leaving no one behind” as initiated by the Prime Minister”, the Secretary of the Quang Trach District Party Committee added.
