Uncle Ho with the Vietnam People's Public Security

Throughout his revolutionary career, President Ho Chi Minh always had special feelings and close attention for the police force. He requested: “The People's Police must be a model, must be the ones who are responsible for implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and the Government well. The People's Police must truly serve the people”. According to him, “The qualities of a revolutionary police officer are: Towards oneself, one must be diligent, frugal, honest and upright. Towards colleagues, one must be friendly and helpful. Towards the Government, one must be absolutely loyal. Towards the people, one must be respectful and polite. Towards work, one must be devoted. Towards the enemy, one must be resolute and clever”.

The publication "Uncle Ho with the People's Public Security of Vietnam" was produced by Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Minh Hong (Editor-in-Chief), and his colleagues Nguyen Thanh Tuyen and Ngo Thi Thu Hoai.

The six teachings of Uncle Ho sound very simple, rustic, concise, easy to understand, easy to remember, but contain extremely profound and rich contents, fully demonstrating the revolutionary and scientific significance; theory and practice; qualities and capacities of the cadres and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Public Security; are the "compass" for all activities of the People's Public Security force in the cause of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
