Kim Boi District: One person was swept away and died by flood.

According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Vinh Tien Commune, Kim Boi District, on the evening of June 3, there was very heavy rain in the commune, with a large amount of water pouring in from the source. At around 11:30 p.m., Ms. Trieu Thi Thuy Ngan, born in 2008, residing in Suoi Reo Hamlet, Vinh Tien Commune, and Mr. Bui Cong Tuan Vu, born in 1991, residing in Ranh Hamlet, Dong Bac Commune, were returning from a trip through the middle tunnel of Suoi Reo Hamlet. Due to carelessness in driving their motorbike across the stream and not being able to control the steering wheel, both the person and the motorbike were swept away by the flood. Mr. Vu was able to cling to the shore safely, while Ms. Ngan was swept away by the flood.

Authorities found the victim's body this morning, June 4, 2025.

Upon receiving the news, officials of Vinh Tien Commune People's Committee quickly arrived at the scene to verify, and mobilized about 100 people, including police, military , militia, security forces at the grassroots level and the masses, to divide into search teams along the stream bank. Due to the darkness and high floodwaters, search and rescue operations were difficult.

At 6:30 a.m. on June 4, authorities found the victim, about 3.5 km from the underground location of Suoi Reo hamlet.
