England legend defends Bellingham

Legend Ian Wright strongly spoke out to defend Jude Bellingham against a wave of criticism from the British media.

Bellingham showed his attitude when he was substituted to make way for Morgan Rodgers.

However, according to Sky Sports , Bellingham showed obvious discomfort, throwing his hands in the air, glaring at the coaching bench, and leaving the field with a frown on his face.

This action was immediately exaggerated by the British media, with headlines such as "Bellingham ignores Tuchel" or "Bellingham shows star attitude".

Wright believes that the British media are looking for an excuse to attack Bellingham. He believes that the British press is making up such controversies because there is nothing more to say between now and the World Cup. And everything will continue until the World Cup takes place.

The former Arsenal striker said: "They are frustrated because they can't get close to him. They are frustrated because they can't have a negative impact on his club career like they have with other players."

Wright argued that the British media was deliberately “hunting” Bellingham to create controversy. Meanwhile, coach Tuchel had quite harsh words about his 22-year-old student.

"I saw that Jude Bellingham was not happy when he was substituted. I will not say anything more but I will not change my opinion. At England, behavior is key and respect for teammates is the most important thing," said coach Thomas Tuchel.
