Tri Ton district assesses socio-economic situation in April 2025

On the afternoon of April 28, Tri Ton District People's Committee held an expanded meeting of the People's Committee members to assess the socio-economic situation in April and deploy tasks for May 2025. In April 2025, Tri Ton District People's Committee focused on leading and directing economic, cultural and social development, ensuring security and national defense. Accordingly, the value of industrial production in the month reached over 61.6 billion VND; total budget revenue reached 110.7 billion VND. The political security situation, social order and safety were stable. Cultural and social activities were widely deployed. District leaders organized many delegations to visit and present gifts to Khmer Theravada pagodas and prestigious people among Khmer ethnic minorities. At the same time, 100% of houses in the program to eliminate temporary houses and dilapidated houses were constructed...

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Nguyen Van Be Tam directed the sectors, units and localities to focus on key tasks in the coming time. In particular, focusing on managing public finance and assets; speeding up the disbursement of works and projects. In addition, promptly completing the settlement documents for transfer between the old and new governments; reviewing and preparing facilities for 5 new commune-level units to come into operation from July 1, 2025.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tri Ton district also directed the sectors, units and localities to quickly implement the gift giving to over 3,800 policy families on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; well organize cultural - artistic, physical training - sports activities, ensure security and order on the occasion of April 30. On the other hand, pay attention to urging and striving to complete 1,336 houses in the program of eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses by May 15, 2025 at the latest. Strengthen the settlement of complaints and denunciations of the people. At the same time, promote fire prevention and fighting, public land management, construction management; strictly handle cases of illegal house construction, houses on canals, on mountains, etc.
