Kim Bang District Party Committee summarizes Party building and economic development work in 2023

On the morning of December 21, Kim Bang District Party Committee held a conference to review Party building (XDĐ) and inspection and supervision (KTGS) work in 2023, and deploy key tasks in 2024. Comrade Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended and directed the conference.

According to the assessment report: In 2023, the Executive Committee (EC) and the Standing Committee (SBC) of Kim Bang District Party Committee always closely followed the leadership and direction to seriously and promptly implement directives and resolutions of Party committees at all levels, concretizing tasks in line with the specific situation of the locality. The work of building the Party, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations has increasingly been innovated; the work of organizing the apparatus and cadres, developing the Party organization (TCĐ) and Party members has been focused.

During the year, the district admitted 148 new Party members, exceeding the set plan. The work of Party inspection and discipline enforcement was strengthened. During the year, Party committees at all levels in the district inspected 54 Party organizations and 33 Party members; supervised 73 Party organizations and 44 Party members on a thematic basis. The District Party Committee's Inspection Committee was directed to inspect signs of violations against 19 Party organizations and 15 Party members... Through direction and strict implementation of the work of inspection and discipline, it was possible to promptly detect, warn, request corrections, overcome shortcomings and deficiencies, and strictly handle violating Party organizations and Party members, contributing to maintaining Party discipline and order from the district to the grassroots level.

Along with focusing on leading and directing the effective implementation of the construction work in 2023, the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of Kim Bang District Party Committee also focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of socio-economic development tasks, completing and exceeding the plan of 17/18 main socio-economic targets, in which some targets had high increases compared to 2022 such as: GRDP per capita is estimated at 112.8 million VND, industrial and handicraft production value is equal to 101.9% of the plan, up 15.4%; export turnover of goods is equal to 100.2% of the plan, up 11.1% compared to 2022... Projects and plans to implement resolutions of party congresses at all levels and specialized resolutions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and District Party Committee are also focused on implementation.

Cultural and social activities have changed positively; policies to ensure social security and gratitude have been well implemented; the work of handling petitions, complaints and denunciations has been given importance; security and national defense have been consolidated and enhanced. Kim Bang has been recognized as a type IV urban area. Through review, assessment and classification of the quality of Party organizations and Party members in 2023, over 91% of grassroots Party organizations have completed their tasks well or better, of which 19.7% have completed their tasks excellently, and no grassroots Party organizations have failed to complete their tasks.

Seriously assessing the results achieved, shortcomings, limitations and causes, Kim Bang District Party Committee proposed key targets, solutions and tasks for 2024, specifically: Striving for average income per capita to increase by 11.2%, state budget revenue from the local economy to increase by 12.2% compared to 2023; 3,690 workers will have new jobs; 2 communes Van Xa and Kha Phong will meet the criteria for advanced NTM, Hoang Tay will meet the criteria for model NTM...

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, commended and acknowledged the results achieved by Kim Bang in 2023. She requested that Kim Bang District Party Committee continue to focus on leading and directing the serious implementation of the assigned tasks. In particular, focusing on directing, thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing resolutions of Party committees at all levels, especially the resolutions of the 13th Party Central Committee Conference, resolutions and plans of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; concretizing the thematic resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee to ensure that they are close to the actual conditions in the locality; Continuing to focus on directing the good implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (13th term) in conjunction with studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh ; Focusing on doing well the work of cadres, mass mobilization, improving the quality of inspection and supervision work and enforcing Party discipline, especially the supervision and criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the people; Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the People's Councils of communes and towns, effectively resolve the people's legitimate opinions and aspirations.

At the same time, continue to closely follow the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, in which closely follow the goals and targets of Resolution No. 19 dated December 1, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on the 5-year socio-economic development tasks for the period 2021-2025 and the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on the socio-economic development tasks in 2024 to lead and direct the implementation of synchronous solutions suitable to the characteristics of the district. Consolidate and improve the quality of sustainable new rural criteria; promote the construction of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas; Continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 11 and 12 of the Provincial Party Committee on promoting industrial development; trade - services - tourism ; promote the strengths of Kim Bang.

Pay attention to developing craft village products, small-scale industrial products associated with the development of trade, services, and tourism; focus on solving environmental pollution problems in craft villages, strengthen tourism promotion and advertising. On the other hand, mobilize and effectively use resources for development investment, focus on investing in infrastructure in accordance with the Kim Bang Urban Master Plan; speed up site clearance progress. Focus on seriously and effectively implementing land and environmental management, building new rural areas, preventing and fighting epidemics; successfully completing socio-economic targets and tasks in 2024.

On this occasion, 12 collectives with outstanding achievements in land construction work were commended by Kim Bang District Party Committee.
