(HNMO) - On the afternoon of May 6, the Vietnamese women's team won 3-1 against the Myanmar women's team, thereby maintaining the top position in Group A of women's football at the 32nd SEA Games.
Entering the match, the Vietnamese women's team took the initiative to attack the Myanmar goalkeeper's goal. Right in the 10th minute, from a beautiful combination between Tuyet Dung and Huynh Nhu, the captain of the Vietnamese women's team kicked the ball into the opponent's net. This was also Huynh Nhu's first goal at the 32nd SEA Games.
After taking the lead, the Vietnamese women's team played with more excitement. However, from the 30th minute, the Myanmar players got into the rhythm of the match. They had more options to attack Kim Thanh's goal. In the 40th minute, from Thuy Nga's mistake, number 6 Htet Htet Wai scored the equalizer for the Myanmar women's team.
In the second half, both teams tried hard to find a chance to increase the score but it seemed too difficult. Luck was on the side of the Vietnamese team. In the 76th minute, from a chaotic situation in the penalty area, Thanh Nha was present in time in the penalty area and finished to raise the score to 2-1 for Vietnam.
