In a statement, the Italian government stressed that the decision was in line with the country's foreign and defense policy. "Today there is no longer any reason to maintain these restrictions. The conflict situation in Yemen has now changed, thanks in part to the ceasefire agreement. Military activities have been appropriately limited," the statement said.
Besides, Italy also appreciated Saudi Arabia for its diplomatic efforts to end the conflict in Yemen as well as its humanitarian and economic support activities.
