According to Korean media, the film's premiere event took place in Korea with the participation of many famous faces such as Jisoo Blackpink, Miyeon (G)I-DLE, actress Ha Ji Won, actor Byeon Woo Seok, actor Jung Ho-yeon, actor Jang Ki Yong...
As the project marking Lee Hye-ri's return after a long absence from the screen, Victory Dance is receiving the attention and support of many fans in Korea.
On the occasion of the film's upcoming release in Vietnam, the main cast also sent greetings to Vietnamese audiences and practiced speaking Vietnamese, promising "no return if we don't meet".
Victory Dance is a movie about a high school cheerleading team called Millennium Girls, consisting of 9 girls with different personalities and stories but sharing the same love for dancing and the joy of youth.
The film brings nostalgia to 1999 - the transition period between two millennia, with cultural highlights, costumes, music , and settings, bringing viewers back to an unforgettable period.
Acting in Victory Dance, Lee Hye-ri and the Korean cast recreated the image of enthusiastic girls and boys, standing out thanks to the Y2K style - a style that is especially loved by young people around the world and has also been a top fashion trend recently.
Talking about the movie Dance of Victory, Lee Hye-ri said that thanks to practicing choreography to act out the role of Pil-sun, she had the opportunity to recall her time as a music idol in the group Girl's Day.
Despite her previous performing experience, Lee Hye-ri still faced many challenges: “In cheerleading, performing movements with a lot of energy and precise rhythm is very important. The synchronization of movements between cheerleading team members is a priority, if there is a slight deviation or a slight mistake, it can be clearly seen, so it is very difficult to practice so that everyone becomes synchronized with each other.”
The film will be officially released in theaters in Vietnam from August 16, 2024.
