According to the announcement from the Drug Administration of Vietnam ( Ministry of Health ), this decision was made after the inspection team conducted a surprise inspection at Hyunjin C&T International Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Hanoi).
This is the unit responsible for bringing the product to market. The product was suspended due to non-compliance with regulations on cosmetic declaration, especially the deviation in formula and use compared to the registered dossier.

The product Désembre Derma Science High Frequency Cream Professional is manufactured by Hyunjin C&T CO., LTD (Korea) and is advertised as a massage cream using high frequency waves, which has the effect of dissolving fat, relieving muscle tension, promoting blood circulation, balancing moisture and preventing skin aging. In the market, this product is commonly sold on e-commerce platforms for more than 1 million VND for a 1,000g bottle.
However, upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the formula and uses stated on the label were inconsistent with the published records, violating the regulations on cosmetic management in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the Drug Administration of Vietnam requires the Department of Health of provinces and cities to notify businesses and distributors to stop selling and using this product, and return the goods to the supplier. All violating products must be recalled.
In addition, the Department also decided to revoke the company's Cosmetic Product Declaration Form and temporarily stop reviewing and receiving new declaration dossiers from Hyunjin C&T International Co., Ltd. for a period of 6 months from June 30.
Applications submitted before this date will no longer be valid. After the suspension period, if the company wishes to continue circulating the product on the market, it must resubmit a new application according to current regulations.
Experts warn that using cosmetics that are not properly declared can pose many risks to consumers' health. Unsafe ingredients can lead to irritation, allergies, skin damage or even poisoning if absorbed through the skin over a long period of time.
Notably, recently, the Ministry of Health and local health departments have continuously detected and handled many violations related to poor quality cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
In the last peak month alone, the Drug Administration conducted surprise inspections of 38 establishments and discovered 17 establishments in violation. At the same time, 20 provinces and cities conducted inspections of 865 establishments producing, importing and trading cosmetics, discovering 48 establishments in violation.
