Calling on the community to join hands to protect the environment at DIFF 2024

The 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will take place on the banks of the Han River from June 8 to July 13 with the theme "Global Connections - Shining on Five Continents". This event will continue to be a highlight, attracting domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to making Da Nang the center of summer tourism and "Asia's leading event and festival destination".

After the beautiful and colorful fireworks displays, the image of many young people, police officers, environmental sanitation workers... staying behind to clean up the trash around the stands, the fireworks viewing area and along the crowded streets always leaves a good impression. This action further enhances the brand of Da Nang - a city with a clean, beautiful, modern environment, civilized, friendly and hospitable people.

Therefore, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment calls on everyone, whether you were born in a coastal city with pride in your hometown or have fallen in love with this beautiful, livable city when traveling, living and working, to connect and show that love through environmental protection activities: Do not litter, limit the use of disposable plastic products; collect waste after the festival ends. Inspire your friends, relatives and those around you to join in protecting the environment, sharing part of the work of hundreds of environmental sanitation workers so that they can rest and go home earlier.

With the joint efforts of each individual and organization, DIFF 2024 will become more meaningful, conveying the message of the city's government and people about "Global Connection - Shining on Five Continents", depicting a world of peace, friendship, humanity and honoring values ​​that inspire the community.
