(Dan Tri) - On the first day of the new year 2025, a group of tourists visiting Phong Nha - Ke Bang ( Quang Binh ) were given flowers, lucky money and free entrance tickets.
On the morning of January 1, the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh held a ceremony to welcome the first visitors of 2025 to visit famous tourist attractions and routes.
Among the first 66 tourists to "break ground" at Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park World Natural Heritage, there were 36 international visitors from countries such as Austria, Canada, Australia, Japan, England, Malaysia and 30 domestic visitors.
As soon as they arrived in Phong Nha - Ke Bang, the first group of tourists of the new year were given flowers, lucky money and free entrance tickets by the leaders of the Quang Binh Department of Tourism and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
Warmly welcomed on New Year's Day, many tourists were excited and surprised, especially international tourists.
"We were very happy to receive a warm welcome and New Year gifts from local leaders and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. This was an interesting and memorable experience. Quang Binh has many beautiful landscapes, especially caves, I am very excited to experience it," said Jonas Nawash, a German tourist.
According to Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Director of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, the ceremony to welcome the first visitors of the new year is an activity demonstrating the friendly and hospitable culture; starting a series of tourism stimulus programs, attracting visitors to Phong Nha - Ke Bang in 2025.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park has nearly 20 routes and tourist attractions with many diverse and attractive experiences, considered the "tourist heart" of Quang Binh province; the "kingdom of caves", the capital of adventure tourism in Asia.
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is gradually affirming its position and brand as a leading destination on the tourism map of Vietnam as well as the world, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors.
