Red Dao girls perform the Van Phu dance, which is somewhat magical, attracting many curious tourists to watch. In the hands of the girls are Dao bells. The bells are shaken vigorously to create a steady rhythm, the colored tassels are tossed up and down rhythmically, lively and beautiful. In the culture of the Red Dao people in the highlands of Lao Cai, bell dancing is a sacred dance, often used in many traditional ceremonies.

Hmong actors appear with their typical panpipes and brocade scarves. The Hmong panpipe dance is a traditional folk performing art form that has existed for a long time and has been passed down through many generations.

The Tay ethnic people in Sa Pa bring the Then singing performance. The Then ritual of the Tay people in Lao Cai has not been lost but is still maintained and exists with rituals such as Then to dispel bad luck, Then to call for fortune, Then to pray for safety... The highest level of Then is called the Cap sac ceremony. Not only used for rituals, this is also a type of folk song used by young Tay men and women in courtship parties.
