On June 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of a class teaching the skills of playing the Arap gong and folk dance of the Gia Rai ethnic group in Ea Sol commune (Ea H'leo district).
The class was attended by 25 students, who are young men and women, people who love gongs and folk dances in the Ea Sol area. During the 1.5 month period (from June 2 to August 15), the students will be introduced to gong culture, skills in using gongs and folk dances by artisans; especially, they will be instructed and taught the gong songs of the Gia Rai people, dances in festivals, etc.

It is known that the class funding belongs to the Project "Preserving and promoting intangible cultural values in Dak Lak province" supported by the Jeollabuk International Cooperation Center (JBCIA), Korea in 2023.
Within the framework of the Project, Ea H'leo district was also supported with a set of Arap gongs and traditional costumes.
