2025 Asian Women's Beach Volleyball Championship Opening Ceremony

There are 22 women's volleyball teams from 10 countries and territories competing in this tournament. Among them, Australia has 3 teams, Hong Kong - China has 2 teams, Kazakhstan has 2 teams, Japan has 3 teams, New Zealand has 1 team, Thailand has 3 teams, Malaysia has 1 team, Vanuatu has 1 team, China has 2 teams and host Vietnam has 4 teams.

Leaders of the People's Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen province presented souvenir flags to representatives of the athlete delegations and referee teams.

This is an annual tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Federation to enhance competition and improve the professional level of volleyball in the country and the region. In addition to competing, the 2025 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship - Cloud Gate Cup also contributes to promoting and introducing the image of the country and people of Vietnam in general, and Phu Yen province in particular, to friends and tourists at home and abroad.

After the opening ceremony, the women's volleyball teams officially competed.

According to Mr. Le Hoang Phu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen province, this is the first time Phu Yen has hosted a continental sports tournament with the cooperation of the Asian Volleyball Federation, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, and Cong May Group Joint Stock Company.
