Opening of the National Mass Art Performance 'Sangha of Lotus Village' in 2025

The program was organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province. The event brought together 31 professional and non-professional art troupes with nearly 1,000 mass artists from provinces and cities nationwide.

The mass art troupes participating in the Festival include: An Giang , Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Ca Mau, Can Tho, Cao Bang, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Dien Bien, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Gia Lai, Hai Duong, Ha Tinh, Hung Yen, Khanh Hoa, Lang Son, Long An, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, Phu Tho, Quang Ngai, Son La, Tay Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue and Vinh Phuc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, Co-Head of the Festival Organizing Committee, said: The festival is one of the key activities of the Sen Village Festival in 2025. This is not only a unique and emotional artistic event but also a political and cultural activity of sacred significance; an opportunity for people across the country to express their respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of the nation, who devoted his whole life to the cause of independence, freedom and happiness of the people.

Held every 5 years in Uncle Ho's hometown, the Festival is a gathering place for artistic souls and hearts passionate about art from all over the country. Through performances imbued with national identity, the audience will deeply feel the sound of the homeland, love for the Fatherland, and the ideological, moral and stylistic values ​​of Ho Chi Minh spread through each melody and each dance.

This year's festival is also an opportunity for Nghe An to introduce and promote its cultural and historical values, beautiful natural landscapes and the image of Nghe An people; contributing to promoting tourism development and enhancing cultural exchange between regions in the country.
