Opening of the 16th Session of the 15th Provincial People's Council

On November 14, the 15th Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council opened its 16th session to promptly consider and decide on important issues of the province.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; delegates of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches; Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and cities.

Opening of the 16th Session of the 15th Provincial People's Council — Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the opening speech at the meeting.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, said: In order to promptly decide on urgent matters within its authority, contributing to promoting the socio -economic development of the province. At this session, the Provincial People's Council carried out personnel work within its authority and considered, discussed and approved 8 draft resolutions on economy, budget and planning, including: 2 draft resolutions on adjusting public investment plans; 3 draft resolutions related to the State budget sector; 2 draft resolutions on adjusting investment policies and a draft resolution on adjusting forest protection and development planning.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Council delegates to uphold their sense of responsibility, promote democracy, concentrate their intelligence, actively participate in discussions, and contribute opinions to the contents presented at the session so that the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council are of good quality and quickly implemented; contributing to the completion of the socio-economic development goals of the province in 2023 and the following years, meeting the requirements and aspirations of voters and people in the province.
