On the evening of April 19, at Binh Minh Square, the People's Committee of Vinh City, Nghe An Province held the opening ceremony of the Cua Lo Sea Tourism Festival 2025.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Pham Trong Hoang - Head of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; Phan Dai Nghia - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council.
Representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province; along with tens of thousands of Vinh city residents and tourists from all over.
The opening ceremony was broadcast live by Nghe An Television and Radio and was rebroadcast by 18 television stations nationwide.
Cua Lo Beach is a scenic spot known as the “green pearl” of Nghe An province and the North Central region; rated by the World Tourism Organization as one of the most ideal beaches in Vietnam.
Cua Lo beach tourism has been explored, formed and developed over the past 117 years... In 2024, Cua Lo tourism welcomed more than 5 million visitors. Revenue from service and tourism activities is estimated at 5,130 billion VND.

In 2025, Cua Lo town will merge into Vinh city. Vinh city has focused on investment and construction to make Cua Lo beach continue to become a key tourist attraction, aiming to welcome 6.9 million tourists, including 3.2 million overnight guests; total revenue from tourism activities reaches 7,000 billion VND.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Cua Lo Sea Tourism Festival 2025, Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee stated: Cua Lo Sea Tourism Festival is a large-scale cultural event; an opportunity to honor the beauty of nature, culture and people of Nghe An. The festival is an opportunity to introduce to domestic and international tourists about Cua Lo sea, Vinh city and Nghe An province, which is developed and rich in cultural identity.
This year's festival is not only an activity to stimulate local tourism, but also an important step to continue affirming the position of Cua Lo beach tourism on the domestic and international tourism map.
It is known that Cua Lo beach tourism in 2025 has many remarkable new features. Accordingly, Vinh City has provided free services such as showers, public toilets, parking and wifi for residents and tourists.
Within the framework of the Opening Ceremony, delegates, a large number of Vinh city residents and tourists enjoyed a special art program. The art program "Cua Lo - Shining Dawn" included 3 chapters "Touching the waves of love", "Waves of love" and "Burning summer"; with the participation of artists Ali Hoang Duong, Duong Hoang Yen, Mai Tien Dung, Ly Ly, Nguyen Thu Thuy, OPlus Band, Rapper Dangrangto... The program brought a jubilant and exciting atmosphere to the residents and tourists.
At the end of the ceremony, delegates, a large number of Vinh city residents and tourists witnessed a 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display to welcome the new tourist season, colorful, eye-catching, and full of emotions.
The 2025 Cua Lo beach tourism season has many attractive cultural, artistic, sports, trade and tourism activities organized to enrich the experience for tourists. In April and May 2025, there will be a Fair introducing tourism products and OCOP products held right at Cua Lo beach; the National "Youth Dance" Festival from April 19-30 at Binh Minh Square; national-scale sports competitions such as: Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race, Beach Sepak Takraw Tournament...
At VinWonder Cua Hoi entertainment area, many culinary, cultural and artistic exchange programs will also be held, creating an attractive highlight for the tourist season.
Many competitions, cultural exchanges, street art and sports will take place at agencies, units, wards and communes, contributing to spreading the festival atmosphere widely.
