From more than 300 submitted works, the Organizing Committee selected 79 works, corresponding to the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army by 22 authors who are members of the Da Nang Photography Club and documentary photos provided by the Hai Chau District Military Command. The photo exhibition "The Beauty of Soldiers" recognized the positive contributions of photographers and photography artists who vividly reflected the image of soldiers in performing their duties and in daily life, vividly expressed through the perspective of photography and through documentary images.
Organizing the Artistic Photography Exhibition “The Beauty of Soldiers” to introduce photographic works with high value in terms of ideological and artistic content about the image of soldiers, connecting the image of the army and people; serving the cultural enjoyment needs of people and tourists when visiting APEC Park. Here, we will see the image of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, “The Beauty of Soldiers” expressed through the perspective of photography, through documentary images recorded while soldiers were performing their duties, in daily life by the Hai Chau District Cultural - Sports Center, Hai Chau District Military Command, Da Nang Port Border Guard Command in coordination with Da Nang City Photography Club organized and implemented from November 14.
Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Comrade Truong Thanh Dung - Member of the Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee emphasized: After more than 79 years of building, fighting and growing, the Vietnam People's Army is a heroic army of a heroic nation; successfully completing the task of preserving and protecting the Vietnamese Fatherland. The image of Uncle Ho's soldiers is always a symbol of trust in the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people. The photo collection celebrating the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 34th anniversary of the National Defense Day will contribute to encouraging, motivating and connecting the images of the army and the people; is a valuable source of data and archives of the army, a preparation step towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
Through the Exhibition, we aim to widely propagate the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" to the entire people and the entire army; educate and enhance patriotism, love for socialism, and revolutionary heroism for the young generation; encourage and motivate the entire people and the entire army to take care of consolidating national defense and security, building a strong people's armed forces, and firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
On this occasion, to recognize the positive contributions of photographers and photography artists, the Organizing Committee awarded 22 certificates to photographers whose works participated in the exhibition.
