With the theme “Hue City - the process of construction and development through archives”, the exhibition introduces many documents, images, and rare artifacts selected from many sources, vividly reflecting the historical, cultural, economic and social imprints of Hue through the periods. The highlight is the documents showing the process of formation and development of the city, as well as outstanding achievements in the fields of economy, culture, society, national defense and security.
In parallel with the live display, the exhibition is digitized and published online on the Hue City Party Committee's Electronic Information Portal, the City People's Committee, the Department of Home Affairs' Website, Hue-S and other digital platforms. The application of information technology helps expand accessibility, remove barriers of time and space, and bring historical documents closer to the public inside and outside the city.
In addition to the exhibition, the Department of Home Affairs also produced a 10-15 minute documentary film "Hue City through history through archival documents", aiming to recreate the development journey of Hue based on original documents.
