Opening of Film Week commemorating the 84th anniversary of the Bac Son uprising (September 27, 1940

As part of the propaganda activities to celebrate the major holidays in August and September 2024. On the evening of September 24, 2024, at Dong Kinh Cinema, the Department of Culture , Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province organized the opening ceremony of " Film Week commemorating the 84th anniversary of the Bac Son uprising (September 27, 1940 - September 27, 2024)" . Attending the opening ceremony were delegates representing leaders of departments, branches , sectors , unions , and armed forces in the province; officers and soldiers of the Military Command, the Border Guard Command of Lang Son province; nearly 100 students in the city and all officers, civil servants, public employees, and workers of units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Lang Son province delivered opening remarks at the Film Week.

At the opening ceremony of the Film Week, the audience enjoyed the documentary "Bac Son Guerrilla Team". Produced by Vietnam People's Army Broadcasting and 01 entertainment film.

Through activities to widely propagate to all classes of people of all ethnic groups in the province the position, stature, and great historical value of the Bac Son Uprising - the first armed uprising, educating historical and national traditions, promoting patriotism, revolutionary heroism, and national self-reliance; arousing pride and strengthening the confidence of all classes of people in the leadership of the Party in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, especially in the current national renewal process.

During this Film Week , 09 Mobile Film Screening Teams from the districts will screen documentaries: Bac Son - the heroic land at the headland of the country; Hoang Van Thu - Son of Lang; Lang Son - Borderland...

The film week takes place from September 23, 2024 to September 30, 2024 , at Dong Kinh Cinema and mobile film screening locations in 10 districts in the province.
