According to the plan, from August 27th to September 7th, Vietravel Group will welcome and serve a delegation of 4,500 people from a major Indian pharmaceutical company. The billionaire founder will also participate along with the group's employees, and this will be a new record for Vietnam's tourism industry as businesses are actively expanding their development opportunities to new markets.

India is one of Vietnam's potential tourism markets, with a dramatic increase in tourist numbers in recent years, and has now become one of Vietnam's top 10 international tourist markets.
For The Indian and Vietnamese markets are strongly attractive due to their beautiful natural landscapes, vibrant cultures, rich natural heritage reflecting local culture, and are supported by simplified visa procedures and favorable geographical factors such as the relatively short distance between the two countries and numerous direct flights, resulting in journey times of only about 4-5 hours.
Notably, many of the world's billionaires, including Indian billionaires, particularly favor and choose famous Vietnamese destinations such as Da Nang and Phu Quoc as venues for their lavish weddings with hundreds of high-society guests.
As for Vietnam, the Indian market, with over 1.4 billion people and a rapidly growing middle class, where many citizens are willing to spend generously on tourism, is a crucial factor for businesses to focus on exploiting.
However, tapping into the Indian market is not easy because tourists have distinct cultural characteristics, beliefs, and lifestyles, requiring extremely stringent services and standards.
Besides specific food requirements to suit their beliefs and religions, many Indian tour groups also request private spaces to perform their customs and prayer rituals. Furthermore, the required language is Hindi, while Vietnamese tourist attractions primarily use English. Private dining spaces and a community of businesses selling cultural products are also important considerations.
The fact that Indian tourists are not yet widespread in Vietnam is also a disadvantage in retaining them for extended stays...
Overcoming those difficulties, Vietravel and the localities including Hanoi, Quang Ninh, and Ninh Binh, chosen by the 4,500-person Indian delegation for this visit and stay, collaborated to plan a very detailed reception with a series of activities that the tourists would participate in. This ensured that each tourist had a complete experience during their 5-day trip combining tourism, work, and relaxation.
The event is also expected to create a media buzz, widely promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism to the Indian market in particular and the global market in general, showcasing its ability to professionally and luxuriously serve large groups of tourists.
This will contribute to the development of Vietnam's tourism industry in line with its potential and advantages, aiming to make tourism a key economic sector and achieve greater growth than in previous periods.
