At noon on June 15, Cat Bi International Airport ( Hai Phong city) welcomed the first flight on the route Lijiang (Yunnan province, China) - Hai Phong (Vietnam) landing safely.
The flight with 162 passengers departed from Lijiang (Yunnan province, China) at 11:30 local time and landed at Cat Bi International Airport (Hai Phong) at 12:45 Vietnam time.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hai Phong Le Khac Nam and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and units of Hai Phong city were present at the airport to welcome the first group of guests of the flight route to the Port city.
At Cat Bi International Airport, the first passengers of the new flight route were warmly welcomed with a vibrant lion dance; Hai Phong city leaders presented congratulatory flowers and wished the passengers to have impressive experiences of tourism services in the Port City.
As reported by Nhan Dan Electronic, starting from June 15, Yunnan Tongdian Air Travel Company opened a flight route from Hai Phong (Vietnam) to Lijiang (China).
From June 15, 2024 to June 14, 2025, the airline will operate 3 flights/week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
