NDO - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - May 7, 2025), from May 5 to 7, at Treatment Team 78, the Naval Region 5 Command organized free medical examinations and medicine for people in Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province.

Accordingly, more than 300 policy beneficiaries, people with revolutionary contributions, and families with difficult circumstances in the locality were examined clinically in internal medicine and surgery by the medical team of Treatment Team 78, Logistics and Technical Department, Naval Region 5 Command.

After examination, patients with common diseases will be prescribed and given free medicine by the unit's military doctors. Those with underlying diseases or complex underlying diseases will be advised and guided to higher-level medical facilities for in-depth examination.

On this occasion, Treatment Team 78 also disseminated information about the causes, symptoms, and prevention of stroke and dengue fever; at the same time, advised and guided people on how to take care of the health of the elderly and children, and raised awareness of disease prevention in the community.
