
Attending the opening ceremony, on the Vietnamese side were Mr. Tran The Thuan, Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Tran Mai Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Cao Thi Phi Van, Deputy Director of the City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC).
On the Japanese side, there were Mr. Omura Hideaki, Governor of Aichi Prefecture and Ms. Hirose Noriko, Tourism Ambassador of Ho Chi Minh City in Aichi, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Festival in Aichi 2025.


In his opening speech, Mr. Tran The Thuan affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City and Aichi Province - two localities always have sincere feelings, trust and effective cooperation in many fields. And he hopes that through music , dance, cultural colors, Ho Chi Minh City artists will send to Japanese friends the message of friendship, sharing and aspirations towards the future.
At the opening ceremony, artists from Ho Chi Minh City such as Meritorious Artist Thu Thuy, Artist Dinh Nhat Minh, Music Producer Khanh, Artist Mai Anh, Artist Doan Minh Tai, Artist Le Hung - Nha Hieu, Puppetry Group of the Art Center, ABC Dance Group... performed unique art performances, expressing the Vietnamese national identity.

The art program on the evening of November 8th, held at Edion Hisaya Plaza Park, also attracted the participation of more than 10,000 spectators. The program started at 4:15 p.m. (local time) with the participation of Meritorious Artist Thu Thuy, singer Vo Ha Tram, singer Dong Hung, singer To My, music producer Khanh, ABC dance group.... brought to the Japanese audience, overseas Vietnamese, and Vietnamese students in Japan a sumptuous feast of musical performances, circus imbued with love for the homeland and contemporary performances that left the audience with indescribable echoes.
In particular, singer Dong Hung joined the entire audience in singing the National Anthem with majesty and eloquence in Japan, leaving behind many proud emotions.
